Concerns in speech and langauge skills in children below school age (0-4 years and not in full time school)
- Encourage attendance at speech and language drop in sessions at family hubs
- Telephone or virtual alternatives available if unable to travel. Contact the team on 01522 459848 or email lhnt.familyhub-salt@nhs.net
Concerns in speech and language skills for school aged children (4+ years)
- Family to self-refer to the service via the contact us form
- GP welcome to complete the referral instead
Concerns requiring specialist support for children aged 0-19 years old
- Dysphagia (eating/drinking/swallowing difficulties)
- Selective mutism
- Stammering
- Cleft palate
- Severe/profound hearing impairment
- Voice disorder
Family to self-refer via the contact us form on this website
GP can complete the referral form if preferred
