Speech and language drop in sessions

If you have a child aged 4 years or under and are concerned about their speech, language and communication development, you can now attend one of 10 drop in sessions located weekly at 10 children’s centres designated as Family Hubs across Lincolnshire.  No referral is necessary.

Please note this drop in runs the first Monday of the month

        

Please note spaces will be limited for each drop in session and will be allocated on a first come first served basis. 

On attending a drop in session, your child’s speech, language and communication development will be assessed by a member of the Speech and Language Therapy team and you will be provided with activities and strategies to help support your child’s speech, language and communication needs as indicated.

You may be invited to attend further drop in group sessions where the team will provide strategies and activities to help you to develop your child’s speech, language and communication skills.

Virtual drop in sessions will also be available for nursery settings and any parents/carers not able to access one of the Children’s Centres, from 1st May 2026, please ring 01522 459848 to book into a virtual drop in session on the Friday you wish to access an appointment.
